Undisnon Design is about discursive design and design research. The means of design are used to communicate ideas and problems concerning current and future issues, asking questions about how we want our world to be and which scenarios we should avoid and which to pursue.

 

Undisnon Design’s special interest areas are food with all its connections and effects, materials and our relations to them through consumption and emotion, and the social and environmental aspects of our material world.

 

Undisnon derives its name from three negative prefixes inspired by the common discourse questioning whether speculative design work is design at all. At the same time it is proposing that undoing things and critical approach are aspirations to do and make things that construct a better reality. Undisnon believes in using critique as a positive force and a tool for playing with the idea of change.
